The upcoming location will be much larger than its takeaway-focused siblings in Fitzrovia and The City, with capacity for 50 diners inside and a further 12 alfresco.
In common with the rest of the group, pasta will be made on site in front of customers with options including spaghetti alla carbonara; paccheri salsiccia e ‘nduja; and a house-made ravioli infused filled with ricotta, mushroom, and Parmesan fondue with truffle.
Pasta is very much the star of the show, but supporting dishes include arancini, bruschetta, burrata and Parma ham, and tiramisù.
“The whole team here at Al Dente is so excited to open our biggest venue to date, it’s long been a dream of ours to open a large dine-in venue in such an exciting location as South Kensington,” says owner Filippo Gallenzi, who also operates Al Dente dark kitchens in Wood Green, Hackney and Waterloo.
“We look forward to welcoming guests with open arms and becoming the go to location for authentic Italian pasta at affordable prices.”
Al Dente launch its first site in 2018 on Goodge Street and followed up with a second dine-in site in Monument Square in last year.
